As part of a human-centred LLM-based multi-agent system for software engineering, TaskGenAgent supports Agile task management by acting as a bridge between software requirements, architectural decisions, project artefacts, and project-management workflows.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n      Its goal is to transform high-level software knowledge into clearer task definitions enriched with planning information, including priorities, effort estimates, dependencies, scheduling details, required roles or expertise, resource allocation, and traceability links to the original requirements or architectural inputs.\n    <\/p>\n<p>          <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/razieh-akbari.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/taskgenagent.jpg\" alt=\"TaskGenAgent within the HIVEMIND multi-agent system\"><br \/>\n          <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/razieh-akbari.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/TaskGen-Agent-Persona.jpg\" alt=\"TaskGenAgent AI agent for Agile task management\"><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size: 1.4rem; margin-top: 2.5rem;\">Research team<\/h2>\n<p>\n      TaskGenAgent is being developed at Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya (UPC) within the <a href=\"https:\/\/hivemind-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HIVEMIND<\/a>. The UPC team involved in this line of work includes <a href=\"https:\/\/carles-farre.staff.upc.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carles Farr\u00e9<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lidia-lopez.staff.upc.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lidia L\u00f3pez<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.essi.upc.edu\/~franch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Xavier Franch<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/razieh-akbari.tech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Razieh Akbari<\/a>. The work focuses on defining and developing human-centred AI support for software task generation, requirements-to-task generation, and structured Agile planning.\n    <\/p>\n<p>\n      In this context, the agent contributes to the broader <a href=\"https:\/\/hivemind-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HIVEMIND<\/a> vision of collaborative multi-agent systems, where specialised AI agents support different stages of the software development lifecycle and help software teams move from requirements and design knowledge toward traceable, actionable, and reviewable development tasks.\n    <\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size: 1.4rem; margin-top: 2.5rem;\">Talks and updates<\/h2>\n<p>\n      Progress on this research has been presented at several venues, including GAISE 2026 in Tampere, Finland, and the HIVEMIND M18 General Assembly in Bucharest, Romania.
